JOY TO THE WORLD AS WE CELEBRATE YET AGAIN, ANOTHER HISTORIC EVENT THAT IS THE WORLD'S MOST POPULAR FESTIVAL IN HISTORY

JOY TO THE WORLD, the Lord is come
Let Earth receive her King. Let every heart, prepare him room
Let Heaven and nature sing

CHRISTMAS is the most celebrated event in history. Every tribe race, religion and clan celebrate 🎉 this season and Jesus is popular among people but not all know him as the savior of the world.
This season is here, and great men of God like the Adeboyes, Oyedepo's, the Enenche's and Pope Francis all enjoined us to use this season to remember the less privilege and the needy.
The truth is that the situation is always a tight one and we are all pierced with the current situation of the nation, but it does not mean that we won't be like this forever.

Let this season propel you to a glorious celebration of 2018!
Enjoy your day and win
Be fresh and clean

This season is reaching out to the world and changing the phase to your taste and that of your neighborhood.

Remember 2019 elections and pray for the greatness to come.

Merry Christmas from Downtown Family.

Journey Of The Youth

He is 31 years old

Austria today made history by electing the  world's youngest president who is 31 years old.

His name is Sebastian Kurz, he is just 31 years old and with him is his girlfriend Susanne.

Before today's election, he was the country's foreign minister.

While our youths are contented with being ass lickers, praise singers and Special assistants  on social media in  Nigeria, youths elsewhere are disrupting the status quo, pushing for innovation, changing the narrative and pushing for new frontiers.

From Facebook to Snapchat and Taxify, these tech giants were founded by millennials  who are youths.

Mark Zukerberg is just 32 years old and the youngest billionaire in the world.

The bar has been raised in Austria that elected a 31 year old man as her leader today.

A 31 year old man in Nigeria is probably in his parents house, unemployed and broke, eating free food and not bothered.

The 31 old Nigerian man is feeling big supporting politicians (who directly or indirectly put us in the mess we are in) on Facebook without seeing the nexus between the failed leadership and present unemployment predicament.

I weep for our youths many of whom are wasting away forgetting that time waits for no one.

The condition in Nigeria is not helping matters though  and then the current generation if youth is not ready to push for change.

Those who have bank jobs think they are on top of the world, forgetting that the owners of the banks were billionaires at their age.

The women get married and drive their husband's cars and think they have arrived.

Those who work in IOCs see themselves as great achievers, not knowing that they are slaves.

I ask young people reading this, what are you doing with your life?

Are you happy with the way Nigeria is at the moment?

What are you doing to push for change?

I wish you a Thought Provoking month.

What does it mean to be apologetic? Do you know the power of being sorry? A short but mighty statement, though depending on how it is being used, can save a thousand horrible situations. There is power in the tongue. Learn to use it wisely, teach others.

THE POWER OF *I AM SORRY.*

I AM SORRY, a short but mighty sentence!

If you wish to live long, don't joke with this short sentence, "I am sorry". Do you know how many people who had gone to early grave because they neglected the therapeutic power of "I am sorry"?

Just a single sorry can stop a war, and prevent millions of men, women including children from dying!

Most of the troubles in most homes are heightened because wives are too big to say "I am sorry" to their husbands and you can trust the ego of  husbands in saying same to their wives.

Quarrel lingers between friends because no party wants to say "I am sorry" Each says or asks, why should I be the first to say I am sorry? He or she would beat his or her chest and utter the ego phrase, "a whole me"?

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the part of the world where saying I am sorry is a hard nut to crack while curses are easily unleashed.

Welcome to the part of the world where people refer to a person who says I am sorry in a midst of a rift as a "weaker sex"; one who is not man enough, or one who is foolish!

Welcome to Africa where saying I am sorry is tougher than forcing a donkey to pass through a needle hole.

All of us are victims of this discussion. We have lost valuable assets, money and even lives because of this cheap and affordable sentence I am sorry! It simply cost only a breath of speech.

Have you ever wondered why domestic violence is less pronounced in the western world? It is simply because they understand the efficacy of I am sorry!

Husbands say it to their wives and even children whenever they error. wives and children do the same, and life goes on fine.

Friends, this is simply a piece to encourage us to cultivate a habit of saying I am sorry. It is difficult but readily affordable.

Learn how to say I AM SORRY even if you are right.

If this message offends you in one way or the other, I am sorry!!
My apologies.

Do you have fears when being told that you can't marry someone you are in love with? Love is sacrificial, but it also allows physical and health therapy to be able to function well. You can not sacrifice for what will be regrettable later. So do what you ought to do at the right time and right place.

BLOOD GENOTYPE AND MARRIAGE

Please let your son/daughter know his/her genotype before he/she says yes to that handsome guy or to that beautiful lady whom he/she wishes to spend the rest of his/her life with...

Genotype is your complete heritable identity. It is your unique genome that would be revealed by personal genome. However the word genotype can also refer just to a particular gene or set of genes carried by an individual. SS is sickle cell disease but AS is a carrier while AA is a healthy person. AA can marry any of the other hemoglobin combinations.

Genotype & It's Appropriate Suitor:
AA + AA = AA, AA, AA, AA, Excellent
AA + AS = AA, AS, AA, AS, Good
AA + SS = AS, AS, AS, AS, Fair
AS + AS = AA, AS, AS, SS, Bad
AS + SS = AS, SS, SS, SS, Very Bad
SS + SS = SS, SS, SS, SS, Extremely Bad (In fact, don't try it)

Depiction of harvesting in the August calendar

August is the eighth month of the year (between July and
September ) in the Julian and Gregorian calendars and the fifth
month to have the length of 31 days. [1]
In the Southern Hemisphere , August is the seasonal equivalent of
February in the Northern Hemisphere . In many European
countries, August is the holiday month for most workers.
Certain meteor showers take place in August. The Kappa Cygnids
take place in August with the dates varying each year, the Alpha
Capricornids meteor shower takes place as early as July 10 and
ends at around August 10, and the Southern Delta Aquariids take
place from mid-July to mid-August with the peak usually around
July 28–29. The Perseids , a major meteor shower, typically takes
place between July 17 - August 24, with the days of the peak
varying yearly.
The star cluster of Messier 30 is best observed around August.
This month was originally named Sextilis in Latin , because it was
the sixth month in the original ten-month Roman calendar under
Romulus in 753 BC, when March was the first month of the year.
About 700 BC it became the eighth month when January and
February were added to the year before March by King Numa
Pompilius , who also gave it 29 days. Julius Caesar added two
days when he created the Julian calendar in 45 BC giving it its
modern length of 31 days. In 8 BC it was renamed in honor of
Augustus (despite common belief, he did not take a day from
February; see the debunked theory on month lengths ). According
to a Senatus consultum quoted by Macrobius , he chose this
month because it was the time of several of his great triumphs,
including the conquest of Egypt. [2]
In ancient Rome, Supplicia canum was held on August 3,
Lychnapsia was held on August 12, Nemoralia was held from
August 13–15 (or on the full moon of August), Tiberinalia and
Portumnalia were held on August 17, Consuales Ludi was held on
August 18, Vinalia rustica was held on August 19, Vulcanalia was
held on August 23, Opiconsivia was held on August 25, and
Volturnalia was held on August 27. These dates do not correspond
to the modern Gregorian calendar.
August symbols
Gladiolus
August's birthstones are the peridot and sardonyx .
Its birth flower is the gladiolus or poppy , meaning beauty,
strength of character, love, marriage and family. [3]
The Western zodiac signs for the month of August are Leo
(until August 22) and Virgo (from August 23 onwards).

The Utan Youth Movement. It is a good development seeing that Utan is a geographical area in Jos North part of Jos metropolis. It is welcoming and also very nice.

UTAN YOUTH MOVEMENT

UTAN ELECTION.

This election is the first of its kind in the history of Utan. It was held in Rockland College field Utan on the 2²nd of July, 2017. It saw a large crowd as people of Utan came out in mass.

Some media personnel from RepNaijaTV were present to interview some people.

  • Mr Samuel Emmanuel gave an appraisal to the Elcom for the courage. He stated that the election was peaceful. It is a welcoming idea and it will give a voice to Utan, as there would be people that can represent Utan as a community in the local and state level.

  • Miss Blessing said it is a wonderful thing to see the youth coming together to vote despite the age, social and cultural differences. She further stated her grievances about not being able to cast vote because of the time and weather, but wwished good luck to whoever wins.
  • Mr M. Vilong (Holy Pikin) said he was excited about the election because it is a way of unifying the youth in Utan community. He said the election process was bit late because the sun was heating people and it is not easy standing for long in the sun. He further said there was shortage of ballot papers and many others complained about it and it was not really encouraging but since it's the first time, it is pardonable.
  • Mr JP said on his part, he was excited and came as early as 5:30am, as the voting was supposed to start by 7am, but he was disappointed as he stood till 11am and still wasn't able to vote because of lack of inadequate preparation. He said he was getting discouraged but as people say, "Change begins with You", he had to be patient and wait to vote.
  • Anonymous said the election process was slow and based on assumption because lots of people didn't get chance to cast vote. He also said the electoral committee didn't prepare well because it is better to have excess ballot paper than to have insufficient ones. The process was not very satisfying to him personally. He further stated that the accreditation should have been done a day before the election so that time would not be a problem and the number of accredited people would have been gotten so that the ballot paper would have been sufficient to go round.

The election saw a large crowd as usual of Utan community, and there were no riot of any sort. The voting ended by a few minutes to 2pm and the counting of votes started
The weather at first was cool aside from the heat of the sun, but a little drizzle occurred just after the voting process, and many people were happy that the rain didn't interfere with the process. God bless Utan

Utan = Unity and Progress.

English language is one of the most spoken language of the world. Many believe it was originated in England, and has its root there. English is a unique language.

Six great confusions still unresolved
😄😂

1. At a movie theatre, which arm rest is yours?

2. In the word scent, is "S"  silent or "C"?

3. If people evolve from monkeys, why are monkeys still around?

4. Why is there a 'D' in fridge,

but not in refrigerator?

5. Who knew what time it was when the first clock was made?

And now sixer ....

 6. If pro and con are opposites, wouldn't the opposite of progress be...congress?

Vagaries of English Language! Enjoy!!

- Wonder why the word funeral starts with FUN?

-Why isn't a Fireman called a Water-man?

- How come Lipstick doesn't do what it says?

- If money doesn't grow on trees, how come Banks have Branches?

- If a Vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a Humanitarian eat?

- How do you get off a non-stop Flight?

- Why are goods sent by ship called CARGO and those sent by truck SHIPMENT?

- Why do we put cups in the dishwasher and the dishes in the Cupboard?

- Why do doctors 'practice' medicine? Are they having practice at the cost of the patients?

- Why is it called 'Rush Hour' when traffic moves at its slowest then?

- How come Noses run and Feet smell?

- Why do they call it a TV 'set' when there is only one?

- What are you  vacating when you go on a vacation?

We can never find the answers, can we?

So just enjoy the pun and fun of the English language!! 😊

What do you know about brisket and biscuit bone? What's your take on it.......

Did you know?
So a random guy with internet and no medical knowledge woke up yesterday and decided to deceive the whole Nigeria claiming biscuit bone is actually brisket bone and many peeps lashed on to it and started making apologies for calling it biscuit bone all their lives.

Well as an anatomist, I stand on my medical knowledge to inform those who care to read that dia is no such rubbish as brisket bone but it is rather biscuit bone.

Brisket is not a bone!! Brisket is a cut of meat from the breast or lower chest of beef. The beef brisket is one of the nine beef primal cuts, though the precise definition of the cut differs internationally.

Biscuit bone is a medical condition where the bone looks bristle and porous when viewed histologically under the microscope. The bones look like biscuits and the name biscuit bone was coined in medical usage for descriptive purposes. The body does not actually have a biscuit bone anywhere neither is dia a brisket bone anywhere in the bone.

Rather biscuit bone is a medical description of a medical condition of someone prone to getting injured very easily due to the bristle nature of the person's bone. The person's bone will look differently under d microscope and so the coinage biscuit bone!!

Don't allow someone with internet and half a brain take you for a ride!!.

Think Outside The Box. Think Helping Hands International

                                                                     (Nigeria)

H2i IS A NOBEL JOB...HER UNIQUE SYSTEM HAS GIVEN ME A SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE
PLATFORM FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF OTHERS AND AM ENJOYING IT

WHY YOU NEED TO THINK DIFFERENTLY TO BECOME A BILLIONAIRE

                 MONEY
Average people look for ways to spend money. Billionaires look for ways to invest money.

             INVESTING
Average people invest just a little. Billionaires know that investing is the key to abundance.

               JOBS
Average people think a better job will make them wealthy. Billionaires know that a job will never make them wealthy; investment will.

                 RISK
Average people stay away from risk because they might fail. Billionaires know if they don't take risk, they have already failed.

             PROBLEMS
Average people try to avoid problems. Billionaires see problems as an opportunity to make millions.

          PREPARATION
Average people prepare for today. Billionaires prepare today for the opportunities of tomorrow.

                 TIME
Average people waste time. Billionaires see time as their most valuable asset.

Average people are always afraid of losing money. Billionaires know if they don't lose money they cannot be wiser, smarter and stronger.

Make that life-changing decision today Don't let other people intimidate you.
Do what you have to do to achieve your own dreams.

Build up a good reputation.
Work well with others, and people will know they can trust you with their projects.
Keep a positive attitude, and always be grateful for the help and support of others along the way.
Stay strong. It is often easier to give up than to keep trying, but long-term success requires persistence and dedication.
If you cannot commit to your dreams, then no one else will.

Do you think that well known Companies and Organisations like The Bill Gates Foundation, Hyundai, Apple, HP, GAC Motors, Glo, Diamond Bank, other Governmental Organisations, etc. To name only but a few of H2i Sponsors....

The question is,.... do you think these Big Brand Names would want their names associated with H2i if it was a fly by night organisation or a Scam?

The answer:

The Founder & CEO Mrs. Luzviminda Mac-Elvis, of H2i (Helping Hands International) NGO, has a track record of over 15 years of doing Humanitarian Services all over the world and therefore, she is recognised by these companies .

If she just woke up one day without a good track record, deciding she would approach these Sponsors....do you think they would have given her the time of day? NO, not at all.

A good track record goes a long way, people want to see that your intentions are pure and you care to really help those in need.

Because of this good track record, Mrs. Mac-Elvis with H2i, has proven herself and therefore have the backing of these Sponsors.

As an NGO doing Humanitarian work, with advertising and Marketing these Brand Names, these Companies are getting exposure out there, because of attaching their name to such good causes.

H2i being a world renowned, NGO, buys these cars and laptops at a much more affordable rate than most.

In return they are also giving exposure to these Big Brand names and therefore they gladly formed a partnership with H2i. The one needing the other....

So you may ask about H2i's Sustainability...? Well this is your answer...

15 years track record with firm Partnerships formed with these Sponsors.
$40 once off registration fee.

The $40 is also your donation as part of doing good to Orphans, Widows and the less privileged.

H2i, is saying they can't get to every less privileged person in the world, so therefore we as members are getting the opportunity to touch the lives of the less privileged we know in our areas, all around us.

With H2i as the vehicle of foundation we are given the opportunity for a mere $40 to be part of an Organisation that believes in doing good, by not just touching our own lives,....
but also the lives of others and empowering those in need.

Nothing in life is free, so you need to also give to receive...
For $40 you are given a proven system that has been working for many to also go through the stages..... once you are a member and receive your rewards and incentives for putting in the effort in sharing the opportunity with others to have more people do good...

One  thing that, I quite like about H2i is that they do not make empty promises saying we will just give you things for free...

Instead....because they believe in Empowering us as members....they say here is a proven system....if you use it wisely and do as expected....you will be rewarded....

You Earn your rewards and incentives....and that makes you feel even prouder because you worked hard for it...therefore appreciating it more....

Can you buy a Brand new HP or Lenovo Laptop for  $40?
Can you buy a Brand new Hyundai Elantra or CRETA for $40?

Answer: NO!

But being a member and doing what is required of you, going through the stage and touching the lives of others....then you can, with only $40.

Stay Positive👍

The Temple and The Church. About the geographical area called Turkey.

Turkey is in the present day Europe and partly in Asia.

■Apostle Paul was a citizen of Turkey because Tarsus exists in Turkey.

■Christianity existed in Turkey for about 1,023 years while Christianity has only existed in Nigeria and Ghana for 172yrs starting from when Rev. Birch Freeman came to Badagry in 1842.

■The seven churches Jesus spoke to in Revelations 2 & 3(Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea) existed in the old Turkey.

■Turkey once had the largest Christian auditorium in Europe called Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.

■Mary the mother of Jesus was taken to Turkey by Apostle John and till date, her room has become a tourist centre.

TURKEY TODAY

■Present day Turkey now has 96% muslims & 0.02% Christians(less than 130,000).

■The Hagia Sophia(once largest church in Europe) was taken over by muslims and converted to a mosque for over 400yrs and later used as an Islamic Museum.

*WHY CHRISTIANITY COLLAPSED IN TURKEY*

■Emphasis on doctrinal differences weakened the Turkish church.

■Rivalries amongst denominations.

■Petty politics in church coupled with ethnic biases.

■The Turks were building big cathedrals instead of building men.

HOW IT HAPPENED

■Osman Ghazi discovered the disunity amongst Christians and used it to fight a Jihad that led to a mass genocide of the Armenians, the Hellen and Turks of that day. In fact, the weapon of war used was designed by a Turkish Christian.

■Many Christian women converted to Islam to save their lives and some were raped and killed.

■Osman Ghazi started the Ottoman empire which gave muslims political post and made it a religion of the state.

*IS NIGERIA/GHANA HEADING THE WAY OF TURKEY*

■Virtually all the mistakes the church in Turkey made, the Nigerian/Ghanaian church have made it.

■We are building Cathedrals at the expense of discipling men.

■Disunity amongst churches.

■Ethnicity in the church.

■Denominational rivalry, etc.

■Sharp division along doctrinal lines.

MORE FACTS

■The spiritual foundation of Turkey is stronger than that of Nigeria/ Ghana and Christianity existed for over 1000yrs in Turkey unlike ours which is just 172yrs but Islam Radicalism uprooted it. If it can happen in Turkey, it can also happen If we are not careful.

■The menace of Boko Haram has destroyed a lot of churches in the Northern Nigeria and it may take another 200yrs to evangelize Borno State alone.

■There is a secret agenda to Islamize Nigeria and other African nations as contained in Abuja declaration of 1989.

*DON'T SAY IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DON'T RIGHT OUR WRONGS AS A CHURCH.*

SOLUTION

■HEART-FELT Intercession.

■Aggressive evangelism- the terrorist reached out to the youths in the norths first and gave them AK-47 and bombs, if we had reached out to them on time,
they'll be carrying BIBLES today.

■Mission support:-God is holding the church responsible for Boko Haram, yet we are blaming the government. If we had supported missions and
missionaries, we would have those insurgents to Christ long ago.

■Unity of the church is key in winning this battle. The last but not the least christians should be actively involve in politics. Enough of these muslims political office holder with islamic agenda.

ARISE CHURCH & LETS DO THE NEEDFUL!!!

Please, send to Bishops, General Overseers, Pastors,Christian whatsapp groups and all Christians on your contact list.
