LOVE IS SHOWN IN THE LAND OF UNDERSTANDING

I have discovered that love doesn't guarantee the success of a relationship. Love cannot help you stick to one person all year round, and on the other hand, cheating isn't always a product of not loving your partner.

In fact, loving someone doesn't guarantee not falling in love with someone else. Relationships work out mostly because of our heads not our hearts.

It works out because of our emotional maturity, empathetic intelligence and self discipline; because, time will come when you'll see more beautiful, handsome, romantic, intelligent, sexy, rich, curvy and God fearing people than the one you're in a relationship with.

In those times, love will not help you. Self control will help you. Emotional intelligence will come to your rescue and commitment will keep you going.

With those characteristics, no matter how you feel for someone else, the person you're committed to will rank first in your life.

You think happily married people don't see better people than the ones they married to? You think they don't feel funny sometimes? You think they don't catch feelings? They do!

But understanding that commitment is greater than feelings and it  is the great arsenal that destroys  those unhelpful impulses.

You can fall in love with anyone, but building a relationship takes absolutely more than what attracted you to them and takes more than love.

We are too fond of loving when it's convenient and sweet. We are too fond of loving when love is there; but that can only last for just the first 3 - 6 months of the relationship in many cases.

After then, you'll realise that the feelings have dropped and it's now your responsibility to make the relationship work, not love's responsibility.

Relationships cannot be readymade. You have to build it and it's never always about love, it requires commitment and intelligence.

On the long run in marriages, it's not just love that keeps them together forever, it's determination and commitment.

Everyone falls in love; it takes little or no effort to do that. But staying in love? Building a relationship? Only the strong and committed ones do that.

That's why we must find that one person and commit to that one, discipline yourself and bridle your emotions.

Building a relationship is hard work, it's like building a career, It's like pursuing a dream.

It's  always tough. At some point it will be so bitter but you can make it work by putting your heads together. You can scale through the trying times by staying focused and committed.

The kind of love that attracts two people together is not the kind of love that will keep them together. Be emotionally strong, be self disciplined and above all,  have the God factor that will give you the grace needed to reign you in.

Please imbibe and share with the young adults, married and unmarried couples.

The future of Nigeria begins in 2019. We are in the process of change. Let us be poised to bring Nigeria to the promised land!

BUILDING TOWARDS 2019!!!

The Price that honest men pay for keeping quiet is to be ruled by dishonest men. Churches should begin to hold Seminars and Symposia on CHRISTIAN IN NATION BUILDING.
Any CHRISTIAN who does not have a VOTER'S CARD cannot claim to love Nigeria.
When Moses and his 3,000,000 followers were trapped by the Red Sea, he wanted to convey a Vigil! YAHWEH ELOHIM cautioned him and said "Don't Cry to me" (KJV) "Quit Praying" (LIVING BIBLE). Then the LORD asked a vital question: WHAT'S IN YOUR HAND? "A Rod"? Moses said.
A Shepherd's Rod in Moses' hand later became the Rod of GOD.
Many Nigerian Christians, after they have prayed like Esther and Mordecai, Nehemiah and Daniel, should also add to PRAYER, PLANNING and PROCEDURE.
In 52 Days, Nehemiah rebuilt the Walls of Jerusalem. In 52 Weeks, Christians will rebuild Nigeria.
When YAHWEH ELOHIM asks you, the Nigerian Christian, "What's in Your Hand?....Your Answer should be MY PERMANENT VOTER'S CARD.
Don't Keep Saying: "GOD will help us". HE has already helped you by telling you "WHEN THE RIGHTEOUS ARE IN POWER, THE PEOPLE REJOICE, AND WHEN THE WICKED ARE IN POWER, THE PEOPLE MOURN". Angels will not vote and put the Righteous in Power.

The Nigerian Church has abandoned the NIGERIAN PROJECT she helped to start: The Nigerian Church:
(1)brought Western Education
(2)developed commerce
(3)started political parties: Herbert Macaulay, Nnamdi Azikiwe (NCNC); Obafemi Awolowo (Action Group); Barau Dikko (Northern People's Congress).

Christians, arise and rescue Nigeria from total destruction. God has brought us to this point, let us push further!
Don't play religion. Politics is not a dirty game, it is only the players that stain themselves! All footballers don't always fall on the ground, neither do they all play and dribble roughly!
We are the future and the present. Whatever we do now, will keep a future legacy. Help bring the LORD'S Justice, Equity and Freedom to our Beloved country. If the NIGERIAN CHURCH does not do it, No one will!

Subscribe, and share with others. LET'S REBUILD THE WALLS OF NIGERIA!! MARANATHA.

What do you really know about marriage outside weddings and ceremonies?

*THE PASTOR WHO TAUGHT THE MARRIED ABOUT PRAYER*

Benson and his wife don't sit next to each other during Church services.

Even when going to Church services, they go in different vehicles; and when they travel in the same car, it is usually a very quiet and uncomfortable ride.

Benson sat at his usual spot in the Church service; the fourth line on the far left row. His wife sat on the center row.

The Pastor took to the podium.

*"Husbands, stop wasting your time praying"* the Pastor began.

The congregants got alarmed. No one expects to hear a pastor saying prayer is a waste of time.

I am not here to discourage you to pray, but to encourage you to pray right.

Husbands, stop wasting your time praying if you are not treating your wives well.

The Word says that when you treat your wife badly, it hinders your prayers. Men, you claim to be prayerful.

You come to church driving your expensive cars, giving your offerings and tithes, active in Church, some of you are Church leaders; but how are you treating your wife?

You may look good to us Church members, but it is your wife and children that know who you truly are" said the Pastor.

Benson turned to face his wife. She looked at him. Benson could see her eyes.

Her left eye swollen from the blow he gave her last week when she confronted him about his alcoholism, pornography use and mischievous behavior.

People couldn't tell she had a black eye because of the make up she had on, so well done.

The Pastor continued, "People have perfected the art of cover up. Here in Church, so many are hurting but you wouldn't know.

People come here wearing their nice clothes, shiny smiles, they are active in ministry but hurting a lot in their marriage.

"We have become numb and plastic, brushing things under the carpet. But today we shall heal; and shall address those wounds we hide."

The Pastor cleared his throat and continued, "Many of those who are hurting their spouses are using the church to hide.

They think that because they give offering s and tithes, because they make public prayers, because they read the Word or because they hold a Church leadership position that they are right with God. God is also interested in what you do in your marriage and in your family.

"Your first ministry is your home. Stop trying to blackmail God with your service in Church yet you are mean and hurtful towards your spouse."

Many of the members of the congregation got restless and unsettled.

The Pastor continued, "Many of those who are being hurt by their spouse hide their pain and want to project an image that all is well to validate that they are blessed and in control.

Some of you are active in Church to run away from the pain in your marriages".

The congregation was silent. Some straightening their ties, others fidgeting with their Bibles, adjusting their sitting position.

This pastor was preaching truth and it was uncomfortable.

The Pastor continued, "The husbands are not the only ones guilty here... Wives, don't you know the Word says when your husband found you he found good virtuous woman and you brought favour?

Then why are you the source of your husband's headache and stress? Have you been so toxic that you have turned your prayerful husband into a prayer-less one?

Do you make him regret marrying you because you bring more complications than he had before marrying you?

How you treat your husband can be a stumbling block in his walk with God or an environment that encourages growth.

Many of you wives married your individual husbands primarily because of their relationship with God, so why are you now destroying their relationship with God instead of celebrating and nurturing it?

Why are you being a burden to your husband emotionally, spiritually, socially, sexually and financially instead of being one who brings favour?"

Benson's wife looked at her husband. Benson looked at her, and she looked away.

The Pastor paused to drink his glass of water.

The Pastor continued, "When I am thirsty, I drink a glass of water.

When your spouse gets thirsty, will you allow God to use you to bless your spouse?

You've been told many sermons that focus on you as an individual, that God will make you prosper as an individual.

I am here to tell you your blessings are tied to people, you are blessed to be a blessing to others. Our God is not an individualistic God.

Your blessing is tied to your marriage, your family. It's not about you; it is about Jesus and Jesus is about love.

What good is it to prosper and be successful when you have no love? It is all vanity.

God cares about your family, how you treat your spouse and children"

Silence.

"Yes, we pray. But what kind of prayers does your spouse pray because of you?

When your spouse prays, is it largely to cry to God because of the hurt you bring?

Is it to plead with God to change you from the monster you've become?

Is it to plead for grace to deal with how difficult you are? Or is to give thanks for you?"

Silence.

"Are you really prayerful? Do you really value prayer?

Then why is it that many of you find it easy to come to us pastors for us to pray with you as an individual, you find it is easy to pray in public, in a Church service or Bible study, but find it so hard to pray with your spouse?

Isn't that telling of what is going on in your marriage? Don't you know that the more you pray with your spouse the stronger your marriage will be?

But how can you find it easy to pray with a spouse you hurt or who hurts you?"

The Pastor paused and looked at the congregation. Eyes staring at him.

"I challenge you. I challenge you to pray with your spouse and to treat your spouse well.

Husbands, you are the head of the home. I challenge you to stand up and go to where your wife is and pray with her as a start of a more prayerful chapter in your marriage.

Don't do it because I asked you to but because you want to. Your choice"

One by one, the husbands present stood up.

Benson stood up too.

Benson walked to where his wife was.

The face of Benson's wife overwhelmed with love, she looked on as her husband walked to her.

She almost stood up but he gave hand gestures at her to stay seated.

Benson reached where she sat. Their eyes met.

Benson knelt down. He stared at her then kissed her swollen left eye.

"I am sorry" he said.

"Can I pray with you?" He asked.

She got up from her seat and knelt down too.

There, on the floor as the Church service was still ongoing, husbands prayed with their wives.

Benson prayed kneeling with his wife.

They prayed for forgiveness, for thanksgiving, for love, for renewal, for peace, for direction; for their marriage.

Marriages were healed.

If You have been blessed by this message please share. You might just be saving a marriage at the verge of being broken.

The Spirit of music. What kind of music do you listen to?

ABOUT GOSPEL AND SECULAR MUSIC

It is not 'gospel music' because it mentioned Jesus, neither is it 'secular' because it did not... The gospel is about the Spirit and not the lyrics!

Jesus said, the words I speak to you, 'the are SPIRIT AND LIFE! That's the point

I could listen to an artiste whose spirit in my discerning mind I agree with and whose lyrics are wholesome and whose videos bear the themes of modesty and decency even if he/she do not mention Jesus. I could enjoy it, be inspired by it but weigh its lessons against scripture! When I do this, I allow the song activate intellectual or motivational considerations good for the soul!

Flip side, I will not listen to anyone who in my discerning mind my Spirit doesn't receive! No reasons, no explanations, no judgment! It's my ear, mind and Spirit, I have right to grant or refuse access! It doesn't mater if they slip Jesus into the song here and there, demons too call him Lord!

Then of course, should the artiste decide to be outrightly unwholesome and center his performance with Flavors that run contrary to the theme of the gospel,  the music must become unworthy of our attention as children of God, it is at best poison well served! It doesn't mater the perfection of the musical rendition or the skills deployed. Flee from these things packaged to contaminate the pure waters of your soul and undermine your faith and growth in God!

Music is a school of the Spirit and every time you submit yourself to it, you submit to more than a lyric and performance, your welcome a Spirit!

Balance as the key to everything. Life is like a bicycle and its balance is only by riding it.

* BALANCE *

1. * Noah * built the * ark * by faith but, he used measurements. There is a place for rational thinking in our walk of faith. Not all decisions should be made with blind hope!

2. * Sarah's pregnancy * was a miracle, but it took nine months just like any other. God's plans do not negate the importance of process. Sometime you need to wait or work it out.

3. *The "Stone" that killed Goliath* might have been anointed, but * David's skill * was also involved. Developing skills does not mean you are not anointed. If you play a piano, play it to the fullest. Don't take us through the agony of listening to your cacophony in the name of "singing to the Lord". Skills are important. There is nothing rude with telling that sister "you can't sing, find something else to do in the house of God".

4. *Esther* received favor to become *queen *, but she also bathed and prepared her appearance. Preparation is key to become fit for the occasion. Get knowledge, go to school. Stop blaming auto-correct, check your spelling even here on social media. Prepare, because some of us expect nothing but the best from you!

5. *The "Promised" Land* was full of milk and honey, but they also had to plow, feed cattle, and take care of sheep. Miracles are communication tools that God uses to instill trust, faith and the knowledge of his nature. You need to work, don't expect miracles in a specific area of life all the time. No one pays rent for a full year with miracle money. We need it, we want it, but God wants what is permanent.

6. *God* is the one who created *human capacity* to memorize things, yet he also told many prophets to write their message. Spirituality does not mean we should not use tools to package the message.

7. *Ruth* received favor to marry *Boaz*, but the coaching of Naomi was necessary. Human coaching is necessary, you need to submit and learn from someone. It will spare you from silly mistakes.

8. *Moses* could hear directly from God, but he was wearing himself out with work, it was the wisdom of his father in law that saved him from dying a premature death with exhaustion. It is wisdom to put on a seat belt, brush teeth, and adhere to medical advise. Being spiritual does not mean asking angels to cook food for you!

9. *Namaan* was a mighty soldier and a friend of Kings, but he acted as influenced by a Jewish maiden. Even important people are influenced by"insignificant"people. The key thing is proximity that generates influence.

Mishandling of the natural world can cause hinderance to progress, and a total neglect of the spiritual world will definitely cause total failure in all areas of life.

   Balance is the key

Learn about productivity. Everyone is unique and designed differently from others. Know your potentials and work towards building it.

BUSY OR PRODUCTIVE, WHICH ARE
YOU???
It wasn't until days ago, anytime anyone asks me how i was doing,
I'd say "fine, I've just been so busy lately that i barely Have time for
myself". This reply was the same over and over again that people
would laugh and say "busy doing nothing"! I thought that being busy
was an important thing as i believed that the more busy i was, the
more useful i felt to society.
In many societies today, busyness is an marker if importance, a
character of economic security but it is wrong .The truth according to
professionals is that busyness is an overload. It makes us feel
overwhelmed, we won't be able to think and plan accurately, to solve
problems, innovate, make decisions and control our emotions
because we are trying to get something done,or a lot of things done
and it's to much for us. Professionals believe  that it is a sign that we
aren't as physically healthy add we should be and goes a long way in
affecting our psychology.
The type of busyness discussed here is one that we can control. The
kind we actually face in social life, education, career, relationship, as
opposed to the busyness of people living in poverty where they have
to work multiple jobs so as to earn a living.
On the other hand, productivity focuses on being effective than
efficient.  If you look through a dictionary, you'd see that efficiency
means "doing steps quickly, correctly; in other words, accurately.
Where effectiveness means doing Steps in the most optimal way". Let
us see an example : after reading this blog post, some would copy
the content and transfer to friends, where others would copy the link
and share to friends. The both set of people got the job done, buy
one is more optimal than the other. An efficient person would copy
the content where an effective person would simply share the link.
That's being productive!  Because you'd be sharing just the link and
affording people the opportunity to get more content as the days go
by other than just Sharing the content and it's enough for them.
Productivity however and being busy are clearly interwoven, because
to be productive,  you have to be doing something, but the debate
here is, while doing something, are you productive about it?
At times we enroll in some activities which are important to us but
over time we stop, or we don't seem to be getting it right. That is
because all day long, we've been busy about it and not productive.
Take for instance, enrolling into a dance group and for more than four
years, you've gone for rehearsals but never chosen to perform at an
event. That's sad and not the fault of any witch anywhere, but simply
because productivity level is low, maybe because of your schedules
which are tight and other factors like organization and control.
The steps to productivity involves being Organized ,where you will
have to recognize yourself and the things that you love doing, the
things you feel that is in line with your passion and dreams and
really be determined about it.
- Prioritize your actions , apart from career, other things take up the
bulk of our time: like family, friends, relationship, education, religion
and what have you. Therefore it is necessary that you don't just do
things haphazardly or as you please. There are some which are
inevitable and very important, where others are a form of luxe and
can be carried out during spare time.
- And doing what you've planned - as well as doing a review of your
actions if you're going to improve!
This steps can be be applied to all facets of life: education, career,
religion, social, economic etc.
You can be productive in doing anything you find yourself doing. In
school, in class, in choir rehearsals, dances, anything at all. You just
need to discover yourself, use time wisely, and know what you want
to achieve with what you're doing, and how it supports or makes you
feel better about yourselves.
We should remember  that everyone of us is born with potentials that
can fetch us success in anytime we find ourselves doing so as to be
valued for the results of our actions.
Be productive today. Not busy. Busy people are valued for effort
while productive people are valued for results. Busy people talk about
all they do to show you how important they are, but productive ones
allow their results to speak for them. Busy people never have enough
time for everything but productive ones do things that are in line with
their goals and missions.
So it's time to answer the question. Busy or productive, which are
you?
If you need help, concerning how to become productive in any way,
feel free to leave me a message and i will do my best to reply you.
